I remember when I was a kid that the soap used to last forever. I was sick each time to see that same soap lying there ! Sometimes I would just leave it under the water or scrub it several times all over myself in the hope to see a new soap next time. I was of course hoping for a new soap with new smell and of course it would never happened. But it was always fun to start "a new soap". That was the joy of my showering life. But you know how most of the times your family stick to just the same soap, shampoo, toothpaste... you have it for the rest of your life
Anyways, the point was that the soap used to last forever. Nowdays it's a totally different deal. I noticed that soaps just melt! It's amazing how quickly they go. They hardly last about 10 showers... And I don't think I am washing elephants when I go take a shower...
I guess the beauty industry found a way to make even more money...
