I watched most of Live 8, well whatever CTV (Ch 7) was showing... It really looked nice and well done. A lot of great well known tracks... the only negative part to me was Madonna. There is something I just don't like about her. She is fake and she used more than once the f*** word when it was really not needed. She is talented but she just does too much to draw attention to her.
Pink Floyd... was unqiue. Literraly. Most of everyone else were good too.
Between Pink Flyod, Muse, Coldplay, Nelson Mandela's speech... I hope something went into people's head. Now I wonder how many people will go to Edinburgh the 6th of July to put pressure on the G8 leaders. The more the better I guess

Canada Day was fun. It was my first Canada day, after having been in Canada for 6 years. I know it's quite bad but it was because of circumstances.
The difference between the celebration in France (14th July) is that people in Canada cheers a lot, whereas in France no one really cheers or wears the french flag. Too bad that the bus service was very bad... One would except more frequent bus services ... well it did not seem to be the case The photo is not mine by the way ...
